and experienced Tax Credit Housing Managers
on staff who administer Ogden’s sizeable
affordable housing portfolio. The tax credit
program and the Department of Housing and
Urban Development’s Section 8 subsidy
program provide affordable housing to senior
citizens and families on fixed income. Seniors
or families pay either a fixed, affordable
rent, or a rent based on 30% of their family
income, depending on the program. Income sources,
assets, and medical expenses are considered
for qualification as appropriate in the various
developments.
