Ogden and Company, Inc. has several Certified Occupancy Specialists and experienced Tax Credit Housing Managers on staff who administer Ogden’s sizeable affordable housing portfolio. The tax credit program and the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Section 8 subsidy program provide affordable housing to senior citizens and families on fixed income. Seniors or families pay either a fixed, affordable rent, or a rent based on 30% of their family income, depending on the program. Income sources, assets, and medical expenses are considered for qualification as appropriate in the various developments.
